Peace Education for Establishment of World Peace

DEC 2017

After attending the 3rd Annual Commemoration of the World Alliance of Religions’ Peace Summit (WARP), Mr. Zakir Hossain has been telling the people of his regional community about the peace activities of Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) and International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) as a HWPL publicity ambassador in Bangladesh. In particular, he hoped to increase people’s awareness concerning the importance of understanding the value of peace, so he hosted the “WE ARE ONE” event together with students as the Additional Secretary General of Bangladesh Teacher Association. The event held on November 10th, 2017 was attended by over 120 people, including principals, teachers, and students.

The event took place at Sherabangla Ideal School in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the principals of Sherabangla Ideal School and Bakhunda College joined the event as well.

During the event, Mr. Hossain explained about HWPL and the IPYG’s peace activities based on what he had felt when he had attended the 3rd Annual Commemoration of the WARP Summit. Also, he emphasized in his speech the importance of peace education and how students who participated should become leaders with the right set of values.

After the event ended, all the participants became one like the title of the event and shouted, “We want peace.” Then, they had a live video call with the IPYG staff in Korea to reaffirm their commitment to world peace once again.

In particular, the principals of Sherabangla Ideal School and Bakhunda College said that they will do their best to provide peace education with the IPYG in their respective schools to instill the value of peace to the students.

As a HWPL Publicity Ambassador, Mr. Hossain will continue to deliver the message of peace to many people with the inspiration he had received when he attended the WARP Summit, and the two principals who promised to work with the IPYG at the “WE ARE ONE” event said, they will help students, who are the leaders of the future, understand the value of peace. These students will surely be the foundation for Bangladesh to be a peace-leading nation in the future.
